We are heading down to HHI this weekend, anyone on here from that area??
Are your restaurants open for any kind of in-door dining??
What is the weather like, looking on my phone app it looks like rain showers possible??
We are staying just North of the Coligny public beach access area, about a block or two above.
Thanks for any info, we have been to the Island a few times, it has been about six years tho, I'm sure it has done some changing.

We spend two weeks there every year since 1983. You have a good location. If you like bird shots, be sure to get out to Pinckney Island and Ibis Lake.

Thanks Mike,
Ive been to Pinckney Island in previous visits, enjoyed it, would love to get back, but doubtful on this trip.
We are actually going with our son and his wife and our Granddaughter Emorie, I' m sure you have seen many posts I have made with her.
So photos, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say mostly well be something that includes Emorie. We are only going to be on the island for a couple of days.
She just turned 1 back in August, so easy is going to be best for us.

Thanks, Tom

Spent week at HHI last week and the restaurants were open and business was booming. Lots of people that didn't wear masks. Beach where you're going was beautiful and looked pretty much like summertime. Enjoy!

Also, Hudson's near the bridge has outdoor seating for eating and usually some music or other amusement for the young people. There is an electric boat tour of the little lakes on Sea Pines Plantation that usually produces many shots of alligators and various birds that would appeal to Emorie.

Thanks for the tip on Hudsons, my wife and I let our son and his wife choose the places to eat, that way if they didnt like it, they had only themselves to blame...lol
Hudsons was actually one they chose. We had to eat inside as we were having intermittent rain storms that night. Food was great, I had shrimp which was actually caught that day by the troller in the last photo.

Thanks , Tom

P.S. Skull Creek Boathouse looked like it might have been pretty good too...
