Just listened to an amazing speech by Trump. Brilliantly written, stellar delivery; spoke about solidly conservative positions. While I have issues about some of his claims I agree with his positions completely.
Where was this guy? I’ve listened to many of his speeches - nothing like this.
That's because he didn't write it. He read what someone else wrote. Not sure about his "stellar delivery". I didn't hear it, but usually he reads in monotone. He may have spoke some conservative positions, but he personally does not have any principles. If you really want to know his positions, listen to his tweets, what he says at a news conference or a rally, and what others that have worked for him have said about him. His main concern is getting reelected so he can stay away from prosecutors and so he can enrich himself and his family. He has conned many Republicans into believing he cares about the old Republican values. He does not. He only cares about himself.

All presidents have speech writers. Just who do you think writes those words on the teleprompter? The reason Biden doesnt fall over his tongue when he speaks is that he reading other peoples words from a teleprompter

Wait for the Debates then we will see who has the better brain. My bet goes to Trump. That is if Chris Wallace doesn't give the Biden team the questions first. Another Donna Brazile????

What planet are you from. No, repeat, no president ever writes his own speeches. Presidents (and high level politicians) have speech writers and SME's who actually do the heavy lifting.

I don't think there's any question about Biden getting the questions in advance. How else are his speech writers going to be able to prepare his teleprompter comments?? I hope the networks slip up and actually show one in the telecast.

Listen, folks, "He's talking ...again" .... must be important, NOT.
Trump has delivered some of the best p**********l speeches ever given. He may not have written every word of them but he means them. That's what's important.

To be quite fair here isn't the main concern of you Left Wingers to elect a Democrat? Of course Trump wants to be reelected. But you seem to put some onus of evil on him for wanting to do that. Every President wants to be reelected. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Trump has taken on many Conservative positions since his e******ns as he should have done. It is Trump who supports the Constitution though you Left Wingers tell us, with no proof, he is anti Constitution. But everything I hear him say goes along 100% with the values of the Constitution.
On the contrary it is you Left Wingers who are against the Constitution, claiming it is a living document to be changed at will. You do not value the 1st, 2nd or 4th Amendments and are willing to go against them for your own political agenda.
What President actually does write his own speeches? None I have ever heard of. But what is important is they put words to those speeches, their words. Trump read in a monotone? I have never heard him monotone anything. He could not monotone ordering a cheeseburger if he tried. You must have been listening to Sleepy Joe Biden slurring his speech while trying to remember what it was all about.

And that is the problem. People believe the “conman”.
The one thing trump is truly good at is preying on people’s weaknesses and prejudices. He is the ultimate conman
I guess believeing a conman is better than believing a person with advanced dementia

By that interpretation every P**********l speech ever given was done by a conman. You only call Trump a conman because you don't like him. I call Obama a conman because I did not like his anti American policies, his policies of taking my money I earned and then wanting to redistribute it to those not working and some who have never worked a day in their life, living their lives from what the government gives them. Then to top it all off Obama wanted to give them what was mine. Bulls**t!
So you can call Trump a conman if you want but it is Trump who want those on the government dole to earn their own money, spend their own money, pay taxes with their own money, not yours nor mine.
Honestly, what is the best government policy to you, the government pay money to those not working OR the government receiving tax money from those that have jobs and are working? I choose door number 2.
