Got outside to the blind this afternoon and captured some of my bird friends. The details will be with each photo. Used my Canon 90D and my Tamron 150-600mm Vii lens mounted on a tripod. ALL C&C is welcome since that is how I learn. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and look at my efforts.

Some nice photos there, Greg. I just got that lens for some extra reach beyond my Nikon 200~500. Haven't had a chance to use it in the field yet due to weather, but it looks like I won't be disappointed.

All are beautiful, Greg, and the delicate wildflower was a special surprise! Looks like your little house finch has the eye disease common to house finches. The eye is still there, but the lid has swelled to cover it. I remember Erv posted a series about a house finch that came to him and perched on his shoulder. The bird had the eye disease, so Erv took him to a veterinarian who cured the disease. Erv brought him home and released him, and the bird would come back to visit him until the bird found a wife and began a family. I think he soon forgot Erv. lol

Thank you, Ken. My heart goes out to you with all the damage done by Sally and now Beta is on the way. I really wish I lived closer to you, Donna and all the other friends that need support in anyway I could.

Chief, Thank you for your comments. Many individuals on UHH use this lens and I do not recall any negatives.

Donna, thank you for your comments and the Five thumbs up. That is the most I have ever recieved. I seem to remember the bird that Erv took care of. It may have been another bird that he doctored but not sure. The humor you added at the end is great and I had a big belly laugh when I read it. Be careful with Beta and as I told Ken, I wish I lived closr to help you all out. We do have a bunch of NCliners out there doing what they can.
