I am looking for suggestions for a comfortable neck strap for my Nikon D7100. I would like one that has snap hooks that attach to the camera. I use the camera for both above and below water and am tired of taking off the metal rings each time I put it in the dive housing. Any suggestions?

Check out UpStrap. I've been using their products for over 10 years. They are a great and honest company and stand behind their products.

Black Rapid has more straps etc. than you can shake a stick at. Good products and good company.

Look on ebay for hippie camera straps from the 70s, comfortable and easy to remove from camera.

I've been using OP/TECH for years, for one camera and two at once.

I know this is not what you have suggested as it hooks to the tripod socket, but you can easily detach it and then put your camera into a dive housing. I have found these straps to work much better than traditional neck straps that attach to the camera lugs.

I use those rings that are made to put keys on.

Good choice. Been using Peak Design for several years now. You will particularly like how easily the strap connects (and disconnects) to the camera.
