Out of the Pond for some Fresh air

Taken at Crabtree Nature Center in Barrington Hills IL.
I as walking along a path and heard a splash from a pond and saw this frog come out looking for some fresh air. As soon as I got too close splash back into the pond.

Camera: Nikon D800
Lens: 24-120 mm f/4
Shot at 120 mm
Exposure: Auto exposure, Aperture-priority AE, 1/160 sec, f/11, ISO 4000

Beautiful work, Stan. I really like the light/shadow aspect of this photograph.

Great shot Stan

Made me remember working in Grayslake and farther north in 2008, I don't remember our destination, (possibly Crystal Lake) but we were following a GPS and it took us through Barrington Hills, I still laugh, when I think of what the residents thought when a caravan of 9 vehicles one of which was a short school bus came through.
