Has anyone tested an EOS R5 and an EOS R6 against the same subject?

I have not found a picture taken in the same light with the same subject using the two cameras. My curiosity is how close would the two be if you apply Topaz Gigapixel to the R6. I found two images, but the R5 is in perfect light and R6 image is in light that is more like clouds with a fair amount of noise. I used the Rectangular Marquee to clone out a five inch square from each image without changing the pixels like a crop tool might and enlarged the R6 square 2x in Gigapixel and removed some noise there from the copy. The .5x enlargement likely would have matched head size of the R5 size better. Gigapixel is faking some pixels so I would really like to see a comparison. I believe the original red picture Was 1.8 megaixels and the enlarged image about 10 megapixels with more apparent sharpness than the original but some amplification of problems. The original images are untouched as shown.

Comments and opinions are appreciated if you have an interest.

There are so many variables, it’s impossible to compare. I suggest repeating the test using the same target or high definition subject matter, same lighting, and using the same distance, same lens, same camera settings and no post processing, then we (and you) can make valid comparisons.

I'd look at Ken Rockwell's example images at the various ISOs in his reviews for the two cameras.

I have tried this with two sets of pictures, but have no control as to what happened in post processing. The results are interesting, but the Gigapixel raises the contrast so I hope someone sees this request and might share unprocessed images. I get the impression that some have both cameras.

The EOS 5 is outstanding, but the storage is a huge consideration. I would probably be selective on a shoot with the R5 and image process the remainder to downsize. I am in my 80s and look forward to the promised stability. I enlarged another of the promotional images from the R6 at 2x Gigapixel which increased the size and sharpness to be a 90 inch image.

Thank you for your input. It suggest exactly where I had wanted to go.

I have learned a lot from your many technical posts on UHH.Thanks for sharing so much positive knowledge.

Funny you should ask. I was going to buy one of each and do a comparison.

Actually, there is quite a bit of information online.
