Trump knew in February that the v***s was highly contagious, airborne, and deadly. He chose not to warn the American public.

Trump is not a leader. He was hoping that the v***s would magically “disappear”— so why should he upset his alternate world?
Further, Bolton has publicly stated that Trump didn’t want to hear about v***s in January because the issue might jeopardize his plans for a trade deal with China.

Before the Trumpers deny this, I'd like to let them know that Bob Woodward taped his conversation with the President so you can hear it right from Trump's fat mouth.

Listen to the tapes: https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/09/politics/bob-woodward-rage-book-trump-c****av***s/index.html

Yes. I just listened to the February 7, and March 19 tapes of Trump's actual voice. This will be hard to rationalize.
Trump predictably stupid--what an i***t.

Time to get ready for the MAGA excuses.

1. He never said it.
2. He said it, but he didn't mean it.
3. He said it, and he meant it, but you don't understand it.

First of all, nobody knew anything for sure then, even now, but that's why he shut down the country and banned overseas travel. A good leader seeks to keep the situation calm and not panic the public. That's his job.

The excuse that Trump wanted to avoid panic by lying to the American people about the severity of a deadly v***s as far back as February 7, 2020, will not carry him very far in the minds of any good American.
Trump failed all of us--including his blind supporters.

The v***s could have been shut down should be in the minds of all thoughtful Americans in early November.

That’s the problem, he didn’t shut down the country and he didn’t ban overseas travel. He curtailed some air traffic from China but by then the v***s had spread to Europe, it came in to New York from Europe.

The k**ler was already in the house before Trump took any action.
This information from Woodward’s “Rage” with tapes of Trump’s own voice should enrage the entire country—all the families of those that died and suffered, all the economic suffering, and all the suffering still to come.
Trump could have done what he was elected to do, protect the people; but he took the easy way out and lied to us. Trump is not responsible for creating the problem; but he should be condemned for the way he handled it.
Woodward did a good job, as usual.

Listen to the tape. trump knew for sure. All of the Trump chumps that still believe as you do should be ashamed of your stupidity at this point. There is no defense for Trump. He made a decision on his own to mislead the American people. Not even his family knew the t***h

According to the experts, literally thousands of lives would have been saved if Trump had told us the t***h, and initiated a national policy to curtail the v***s.
Instead, as he admits on March 19, he “downplayed” the v***s to prevent a panic.
He didn’t downplay— he lied, over and over again.

For Trump to have known what has been revealed in “Rage” and take the approach to protect our country that he clearly took; one has cause to question his sense of responsibility, and his sense period.
Further, what he thinking to tell Woodward this stuff Knowing Woodward is a two-time Pulitzer Prize winning writer?

One of the first rules of emergency management is, be honest with the public.
