When trying to do a HDR merge in lightroom I get this error:
Photo merge error
Unable to merge the photos.
Failed to import the final merged result from
C:\users\pictures\teton\img_470-HDR.dng
I don't believe it's a lightroom error but may be something in Windows 10 Pro (64 bit) the image
referenced isn't in the folder. I've done HDR merges previously that worked and there have been
no lightroom upgrades. This just started recently. Any ideas what I should try?
Did a default directory change?
Is img_470-HDR.dng in the target directory?
The default directory is correct but the image is not in the default directory. I would expect to see the file in the directory but it doesn't look like it's being created.
Problem solved, while I was typing the last response I had an idea to turn off network access and disable security. I tried HDR merge again and it worked. After some investigation I found that the security "folder control access" was blocking all access to the folder by lightroom. I added LR as an exception and now everything works fine. Thanks for the replies!
