This turtle picture was taken in central florida in a preserve area. Maybe someone knows what kind of turtle it is and if this is a defensive position. The feet definately look like claws. Keep the comments commming

Reminds me of a conunderum I was once asked.
If a turtle loses it's shell - is it naked or homeless? Sorry about that had a senior moment.
