Wow! These are great. I would definitely consider them pieces of art.
We have a glass blowing studio here in town, it is called Sunspot Studios, but they don't make anything that big as far as I know.

Amazing! About 10 years ago we visited the Corning Glass Museum in New York and we were astounded at the intricate, almost impossible shapes of the more modern pieces in the museum. I
have no idea whether any of them belonged to this artist, but there are some similarities. Thanks for sharing.
If you go through Tacoma which is maybe 30 miles south of downtown Seattle, you should stop at Chuhuly's Museum. As far as I'm concerned, in content it ranks up there with the National Gallery of Art in DC and the Loire in Paris.

Beautiful. I visited a Chihuly glass exhibit a couple years ago at the Makers Mark distillery in Kentucky; fantastic blown glass! Unfortunately, that was the day the shutter in my Canon 40D decided to quit, and I had decided I didn't need to bring a second camera with me, so no pictures.
Beautifully and creatively photographed! Unlike most other photos of Chihuly sculptures I've seen, these installations seem to have a lot of photogenic surroundings and/or you worked extra hard to get the best shot
I haven't been to the Seattle exhibit, maybe one day...
Hope they don't have a hail storm!
Well done, thanks for sharing!

Thank you. The Cheekwood botanical gardens are an awesome place for this exhibit.
An inspired use of glass. Saw the exhibit at NYBG New York Botanical Garden with many of the same pieces.

The Dallas Arboretum featured a huge exhibit a few years back. A massive hail storm destroyed many of Chihuly’s pieces.
Wow, absolutely beautiful. Great pictures....
