You did very well with your 200-500 hand held. It is a great lens. I have one and you have a super sharp copy also. I always shoot at 1/1000. Thanks for sharing.

I've owned one for two years now. Love it! I shoot hand held probably 85% of the time. Sometimes with a monopod, and rarely with a tripod. Mine has always been a sharp lens end to end. I took it to Africa early this year and was blown away. Don't tell Nikon but they should sell it for twice the current list price!
