Tamron 100 mm 2.8 atx macro lens

I want to trade a 60mm 2.8 d macro, a50mm 1.8 afs, and a 70-210 F/4 lens for this tamron 2.8 macro everything is in ex cond. good trade or not what's your opinion? Thanks Jim Bianco

For myself, I wouldn’t do it. $$ values aside, I wouldn’t part with all that broad utility to get one somewhat specialized item. YMMV.

I HAD THE 60 AND SOLD IT, REGRET IT DAILY !! I also had the 100 and sold it ,a great lens but no regrets !!

You do not say what camera you have.

Investigate compatability any non OEM lens with respect to your camera or any possible new camera you are considering.

I mentioned compatability because just having added a Nikon mirrorless to my Nikon DSLRs I have found out that some Tamrons are not compatible and some of the newer ones require a lens software update.

I have a tokina 100mm 2.8 with aperture ring. It’s a solid lens and not that expensive -got it used.
Look up ken Rockwell......eBay review is an other good info source......

I’ve begun to wonder which lens is under discussion. “Tamron ATX” is a mashed up name, kinda like a “Toyota Mustang” or a “Ford Land Cruiser”.
