The whites look great IMO; brighter but you were able to keep the texture. Was this a global brightening? The reds also look brighter, which I don't think adds to the result, but that's only my observation.

altogether different image, taken on the same day. i don't know how to only brighten a "specific part of an image.........RJM

But then you were mostly "in charge" in your career! I do nearly NONE, when it comes to PP. OLD&SLOW>...thats me!
