We are sweltering here!
My home weather station shown 116.2° F yesterday at 3 PM (15:00 Hrs), and 116.1° F right now (12:33 PM)
F= Fartenhot!
I didn't bother last night, we had Seattle Clouds (Microsoft Skies).
So I don't bother because if I set up, those pesky clouds just keep messin things up.
But before some dolt opened the oven, I was enjoying cooler evenings, a sweater, and occasionally a jacket to keep my back warm.
I want to try and image the Pink Pillow Nebula. I guess it's a Hubble find. NGC 7027
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NGC_7027Anyway, I'm sure glad you are getting some Fall weather finally.

It is hot here also. It was in the mid 80's at 3:00AM, unfortunately it was also very smoky from the "Creek fire" ~170 miles south of here making the moon was just a dim red disc and blotting out all other objects. I just went back to bed hoping for some clearing to try and capture an image of Mars in the next few days.

I was going insane with everyone posting such awesome pics and my sweltering tail sits in a tropical rain forest . I'm hoping that this is fall for real and not just a teaser , anyway yall take whatever you get in stride and things will open up for yall soon.
Ballard , that's insane.! Sorry , things will not be opening up for you anytime soon .
That nebula looks pretty awesome that would be a good one to take the Infinity to. I've got it bookmarked so when I'm finished with everything I got going I'll see if it is doable from my location. Thanks Sonny
Pixelstan , it can't rain forever buddy. I hope things will clear up for ya.

I love chasing the weird.
(Um, don't say that to my wife.)
But if anybody can grab that little darling, I'd be all eyes to see it.
I'm thinking Brian M with his RASA, or Tony with his big refractor.
It's pretty obscure.
I do hope your fall weather holds, Ronnie.
Nope 4 nights in a row was all I was allowed over Labor day , back to humidity and rain . What a "BUMMER" !

So much smoke in the sky that at 10AM today, the sun looked as red as a sunset and no problem looking straight at it. And the smoke is holding the temperature down too. Only 66 deg at 1PM, whereas before the smoke, I was seeing regular 112 deg temperatures. I prefer the smoke to the heat!

We are going into a volcanic/nuclear winter!
I actually saw planets, briefly, the night before last.
And some actual STARS to the South Last night!
But Red Sun this morning...
Still, I keep hoping. If I wait long enough I win. I always win.
