He gets lots of love ok. we weighs 16 pounds. I'm glad he's no longer a kitten. He was a terror. Broke 2 lamps and destroyed a countertop water filter. Plus a few other things. I finally got him to stay off of the kitchen counters. He's only 14 months and is on his way to becoming a great cat.

As in the word "great" referring to size?
We had one, Tiger, who was 18 lbs and not fat. He had the build and body shape of a small tank or a weight lifting gym rat. He was a lover, not a fighter. The neighborhood bully cat kept after him until one day Tiger knocked the hell out of him in our front yard, then went back to being his usual mellow self. NB avoided Tiger after that.

I'll probably hear it from the Vet when she sees how big he is. And although I'd like a cat who could kick ass, I'd rather see him be more settled and calm. A cat that the neighbors wouldn't fear. He can give you a look like he wants to tear your head off though. But so far he's been a sweetheart.
