On day 9 of our cruise we crossed from the Norwegian Sea to the North Sea, the only time of our 14 day cruise that we could not see land, other than a short time on our way from Edinburgh to London. We awoke to a dreary, but calm sea. The first photo was taken at 8:32 AM in the Norwegian Sea approximately 100 miles north of Molde, Norway. We had a relaxing day that included afternoon tea in the Wintergarden while enjoying classical music; see the second photo. Viking is NOT the cruise line for anybody looking for action, glitz and kids running around (there is nobody under 18 allowed on the ship) and it tends to be an active, but older crowd. The ship seemed very uncrowded; it was a perfect fit for us.
The remaining photos were taken between 10:10 and 10:24 PM about where the Norwegian and North Seas meet, at the approximate latitude between Geiranger and Bergen Norway.
Next stop: The Shetland Islands of Scotland.
Cool choppy sea water looks really appealing after a day in Reno of 99º. Good set, Dennis.
The ninth is pretty cool.
Excellent set Dennis. I love the sunsets.

Thank you Laura, I appreciate your comments. It's currently 100 here, down from a peak of 102; several degrees hotter tomorrow.

Thank you as always Mark. I love sunsets and take lots of sunset photos (as you have probably noticed).
Thank you NMGal, I appreciate your kind comment.

I appreciate your comments John and I'm glad you are enjoying my posts. We absolutely loved Viking and are looking forward to our next cruise with them. We actually have a 2 week Mediterranean cruise booked with them in 2022, followed by post- and pre-cruise extensions and an 8 day Rhine River cruise, our first river cruise.
Thank you for the double thumbs-up Jack.
Very nice. You do so much better with sunsets than I do.
