Hello from a RI aspiring photographer!

Hello!
This is the first online community I've ever joined and I'm excited it revolves around something I'm passionate about. I have been taking photos for the past 5 years or so...no type of formal training and little to no knowledge of the many functions on my camera! I'm really learning as I go!
I work at a university in Newport, Rhode Island and I recruit international students from all over the world...so I am incredibly blessed to have captured many photos from all around the world. I'm hoping that this forum will give me some guidance on how to take even better photos in the future and give me tips on editing and stuff.
I'm currently in the UAE on a middle east tour and will attach a few photos I've taken on this tour once I get home and have my laptop...haven't figured out how to post pictures from my iPad.
Excited, ready to share, and anxious to learn,

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you work @ Salve...nice home base there in Newport. Look forward to your post.....there's lots of knowledge to tap into here.
