Obama and Twisted Words!

article from Military.com community

President Obama is now claiming Mitt Romney "twisted" his words by focusing on the now-infamous "you didn't build that" quote from earlier this month, telling a California crowd Monday that the line was taken out of context.

**********
Speaking in Oakland Monday night, he said Romney knowingly "twisted my words around" to imply he didn't care about small business.

I keep reading what Obama said, and what many claim he meant by what he said. My view is that when you look at his actions concerning businesses and government as well as take note of his words, the only conclusion is that Romney is correct. Obama has very little regard for businesses that do not donate to his campaign. He does have great regard, however, for well paid donors whose high income gushed in with government funding even when becoming bankrupt.

IMO Obama believes that government came first and created commerce, instead of commerce creating governance to create a uniform method of interacting. Obama wishes to use government to choose who will be a successful business instead of successes coming from investment and hard work.
If Obama wishes to continue this discussion, I believe that is great news for Romney. Each time Obama speaks out concerning businesses, his pro-government and anti-business bias shows more and more.

Obama must be a Beatles fan. "Twist and Shout!"

Agreed! It also takes alot of gall for any politician to accuse an opponant of knowingly taking words out of context to make them fit into an attempt at getting them out of office; they all do it, which is why they all need to watch carefully what they say and how they mean it. I for one am not totaly convinced that Mitt will be a great president, but I do know Obama is not and the change can only be good....even if its only a little

Oh blah, blah, blah; if they didn't twist words, theirs and their opponents, they wouldn't be politicians. The trick is not to believe anything any of them say. Just choose the one you THINK will not plunge the knife in too deeply because you're gonna get it, no matter who is elected. 99.9% of pols are on a power trip the likes of which we can't appreciate. If they were not, then we wouldn't have the impasses we have in Congress. When they should all be working TOGETHER to help ALL Americans, instead, all they do is bicker, accuse, and try their best to undermine each and every proposal that the other makes. It's sickening and to be honest, neither of them deserve the office.
