Nikon D500 SD memory card problem

Out of the blue my camera is telling me that my SanDisk SD memory is "..locked. Slide lock to write position." I can find nothing in David Busch's book or the Nikon manual telling me how to do this. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

Not a camera issue, which is why you cannot easily find it in the manual
It is the tini-tiny slide switch on the edge of the SD card. Easy to bump accidentally. Take a careful look and you will find it.
99% chance this is the issue. Good luck
