I am not sure how much I like this photo, it does different things to me whenever I look at it. I attempted to capture the amazing blue color that results in the sky in the early evening, using the towers & lights from a power company to add composition and, hopefully, interest.
The photo was taken within the Target Rock National Wildlife Refuge located in Huntington, NY. Photographed with a Nikon D80 at ISO 100, 135mm, f/22, exposed for 5 sec. A tripod was used.
I would appreciate any comments as to how you feel about the image & if negatively why. Thanks 8-)

i really like this photo, not only for the vibrance of the colors but the color contrast between the sky and lake versus the red warning lights. the house on the left gives a sense of depth and size of the towers. plus you have the reflection in the lake. does not need improvement. has the feelof peace and tranquility at twilight. good job!

Bmac, I love the photo, the colors, the composition and the reflections...beautiful, but dare I say it needs to be leveled just a teeny bit?

It might be my monitor (and my glasses) but it seems the sky is grainy. Love the color, reflection and composition.

No, it's not your monitor nor your glasses TK. The whole image has noise, even though the ISO is 100. The combination of the small aperture and 5 sec. exposure caused that. I haven't attempted to tone the noise down via PP and was curious to see any comments regarding it. 8-)
