Hi all! Longtime member here, but not a prolific poster. Anyway, I was perusing my old family pictures and found this one of my granddaughter. She has always been my favorite subject! It was taken Sept 9, 2006 with my Nikon D200, zoom lens at 38mm, ISO 100, f4.2, 1/60, flash. She is now two months shy of her 18th birthday and she has inherited that camera. It's a small file, only 55kb, so I'm not setting it for download. Comments and criticisms are welcomed! Thanks, Bp

Looks good. I like that the flash is not that noticeable- good even lighting.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, she is quite attractive now, but that's a biased grandfather's opinion! I also hope for her to continue with photography. I gave her the D200 and an 18-55mm Nikon zoom because she was shooting for her high school yearbook with an old Minolta film SLR the school gave her. When she got the D200 she was super happy! Bp

Thank you. When she was young she was quite accustomed to me pointing my camera at her. She always posed spontaneously, like in this image. I never told her what to do, she just took a cutesy pose and gave me a big smile! Unfortunately, those days are over. Now it takes an effort to get her to stand still for a photo! Stay safe! Bp

Thank you! She is the actual Bananapuppy; her mother is Johanna Banana so she is the Bananapuppy! At least, that's what the family calls her! Here is a recent picture of her with the D200 and Jake, a labrador mix (one of our two rescue dogs). Bp
