The real question has always been - will the Democrats hold the house and will they capture the senate? If so by how much? If neither full steam ahead Trump, there are many that like that idea. House held but not Senate - stalemate, and there are many who don’t like that idea. Biden wins Democrats loose majority - might be workable, not sure who would like that. Democrats win WH, House, and Senate - would not be pretty, but many would like that. House held, Senate Democratic gain but no majority - might actually compromise and get stuff done, many would accept that. Democrats achieve veto proof majorities - (unlikely) much less compromise but could still work (especially if there are closet conservatives), some might like this. Democrats hold house achieve impeachment majority in Senate (extremely unlikely, but possible, more possible in 2022), no one should like the outcome of this - I suspect some would.
