Hello everyone, in the current times of political turmoil and social upheaval, I thought I would submit some beauty and tranquility from Buchart Gardens, Brentwood Bay, Victoria BC. These were taken as part of the land-tours day trips while cruising to Alaska in 2008. The gardens are fantastic and my photos do not really capture the beauty that you become immersed in from all directions. In any event, hope you enjoy them.

We up here in BC, spell it a little different- "Butchart Gardens"
My first time there was 1970 when our Pee Wee hockey team (Trail Pee Wee Smoke Eaters- 10-12 yrs) won the BC Championship. Been there a couple times since, VERY impressive place.

It truly is paradise on earth. Nice photos and a perfect place to take them. I believe the place practically has its own weather system. Would love to visit there at Christmas.

Thanks All for the kind comments. Honestly, I'd pitch a tent and live there if I could get away with it, hard to beat the scenery.

One of my favorite Canadian locations! Absolutely gorgeous, and the people that work there are marvelous! You just have to stay aware and not get trodden underfoot by Japanese tour groups!
