Why are many Nikon users on Youtube leaving NIKON?
The EOS R5 will change how we think about mirrorless, how we think about photography, how we think about life.

Too funny... hobbyist believe they can establish their persona through the brand they purchase...
Not much unlike many purchase their cars as a social statement of "class"
Commercial shooters establish their persona i.e. perceived worth through the quality of their imagery...
Not seeing many commercial shooters on UHH...
So the inverse of this query is "Why are so many commercial photographers leaving UHH?"

We should all support not only our own brand, but the competition.
Years ago, I used HP programmable calculators -- beginning with the 29C and finishing with the the 41C. It was the head-to-head competition with Texas Instruments that made them affordable.
Today, the market is blessed with the across the board quality of products -- while the current capabilities of the products and capability/convenience of cell phone cameras make it harder for users to justify frequent upgrades. Hence, a diminishing market, fewer models, and consolidating support.
It is the competition that keeps them and the accessories affordable.
How many of us have a skill set that exceeds the capability of our tools?

If a camera, or any other inanimate object, changes how I think about life, I think itβs time to expand my horizons.

I don't follow any Nikon users on YouTube, so I wouldn't know. I know one, Matt Granger, is leaving from the other thread referenced above. How many others do you follow, and how many are leaving Nikon?
Who cares what camera you use go out and take pics and have fun, to many people get caught up in camera gear, it is what you do with the gear you have, a lens and a camera is all you need.
If nothing ever changed, there'd be no butterflies.
