Very cool post. Is that a Ford flat head V8 with aftermarket heads in #1? Number 3 looks like maybe an MGB (those air cleaners on the SUs look familiar and the Smiths label on the blower means British), and then there’s the Morgan Trike. The Maserati is easy, but not sure about the others...

Engines shouldn't bay. They should rumble and roar. Baying is for donkeys.

Regarding photos 6-10, long gone are the days where you could crawl into the engine compartment and comfortably (????) work on the engine and other parts!

Wow, there’s some horny rigs there. The twin SU carbis brought back memories of my Mini Cooper S back in the early 1970s. That looks very British?

I did try to make that point for the older gear heads (which includes me) in the last #10 picture. That happens to be a 2020 Camaro ZL1. You can not see any ground area below the engine when looking over it.

It is a '66 MGB who's owner happens to be a friend of mine.

That’s quite a restoration - looks better than new!

The 1275 Mini Cooper S was a cool (and fast) little machine. They used to be the terror of small sedan SCCA racing and duked it out with the Lotus Cortinas (right up until the point the BMWs came along). I had a red one in the late 60s.
