The issue is the presumed entrance of the soul into a fertilized egg. Those who believe this say at the time of fertilization, that is a life and disturbance of that is a******n. That is why birth control methods which prevent implantation or otherwise discard a fertilized egg are banned by those folks. A word about physiology here: Approximately 85% of fertilized eggs are spontaneously passed without the intervention of man. So this means the greatest a******nist is _________. Guess who?

You do not recognize His only begotten Son.
Thus the teachings of the New testament are not considered scripture only the old testament which is very different.
Nothing against Jews, but you asked the difference.

I know that difference. But, why do you think the Christian definition of life Should be the one codified into law rather than the Jewish one? Why not let Church and State be separate and keep government out of the determination?

There are certain values that transcend government.
Right to free speech, right to self defense, right to life and many others that are Judaeo/Christian values that the government has an obligation to defend it cannot give those rights but is obliged to protect them.
There is NO state religion, believe as you like, but shall we allow honor k*****gs as islam does? Should the government NOT interfere in this or beating the wife as encouraged by islam? "Keep government out of the determination" you say.

A person in a coma?
Which definition life supersedes the other?
Are these "People" more alive than a baby born alive for the first 6 minutes?
Are they more ALIVE than a person 3 months before birth?
Yes where do we draw the line?
Perhaps when a person reaches a point where they are of no use to society and fail to produce and consume more healthcare resources than they return in productivity should be immediately removed from society as a d**g on limited resources.
Government should stay out of that as well.

My personal beliefs too, but it differs greatly from Jewish beliefs. Freedom of personal religion and from religious dictates are the bedrocks of our nation. That’s the conundrum.

Your fact check is accurate in that he din not say the infant WOULD be terminated. But watch the video. It is Northam himself, live and in person for the interview. He DID say that the mother and medical professionals would have the right to abort at any time and if the baby were to survive and be born alive, have the option to terminate.
