I did board up...but only because I moved my 89 year old mother in with me last september. She was getting irrationally fearful about this dangerous storm. Luckily I had storm windows made about 15 years ago. The house is brick and the plywood sheets are fitted with prongs...just push them into the window space and they lock in. Still a minor pain in the ass to put them in...especially knowing I did not need to deploy them given the storms track.

Easier to spend a couple of hours putting them up than argue with her and leave her scared of imminent doom...which is not even coming our way.

We are dodging two bullets this week. So has NOLA!

He was talking about the people protesting the removal of confederate statues versus
people protesting to keep them. He stated that there were very fine people on both sides.
