A Classic Dilemma - Color vs Black& White

I enjoyed putting this gallery together. There are 30 sets of a photo done in color and in black & white. It's not always easy to choose which I prefer. These are 5 of the 30 sets !!

Cars #2, #3, #5 are definitely better in black & white. The photo of car #3 is outstanding. Even the ceiling structure with the beams adds to that photo. If that railing just wasn't there.

I agree with CO – I like most of them in B&W. The 1st pictures is my favorite because of the white car to the right. My father worked at the Studebaker plant in South Bend, Indiana for 24 years until they closed down. The '62-'64 Hawk was my favorite car they made.

I think both are equal - the B&W to show the form and line - the color to show the glory(?)

For the individual cars, I like the Black and White. For the group shots, I think color adds context.

I love the beauty of these cars and your shots.

Thank You !!, my wife has family in South Bend. When we were last last year we went by the old plant. her Dad and 3 of his brothers worked there
