I spent about 100 days in Texas from mid-December to late March, when I was forced to return to Canada because of the Covid-19 shutdown of the State parks.
My first encounter with pelicans in flight along the Gulf coast. I enjoyed their "squadron" flying - when they wre more numerous it was difficult to get a representative shot.
The Egret was at the Port Aransas nature reserve which has a good lookout. Nikon D5600 with 70 - 300 mm lens.
These were my first attempts at BIF - I will be pleased to hear any feedback.
Nice set though I would bring lighten the shadows somewhat.
Thanks for the feedback - I will try to do that in another version of PP. Mostly trying not to get blown out highlights and keep the detail in the feathers. Have a great day and stay well!
