...but sometimes get lucky. Second trip out after cutting weeds. Not much on first pass, second one almost nothing till luck turned the corner. They're starting to move into the Gumweed, last three shots, so they are easier to find, but harder to approach. Back to the D810 AF Micro Nikkor 105 2.8D

Did you notice the butterfly's eyes in pic 1 and 2. They are full of dots.

You did a wonderful job shooting these elusive butterflies and bees, quixdraw.
Since you've been a member on UHH for a long time, you might remember Treepusher. If I asked you this previously - sorry. He posted entertaining stories and portraits of his friend and model, Pocahontas. If you know what's happened to him, I would appreciate it if you let me know.

Thanks so much! Unfortunately, though I do recall him - I have no info on him, I have been here and gone episodically over the years.
