I am listing these Nikon lenses, developed for and used extensively by professionals, on behalf of my nephew. As he states, medical issues preclude him being able to use them any longer. The descriptions and photos (below) are his. I own the same 70-200 and can attest to its quality. I can also attest to the integrity of my nephew. If you can even find them used, the pricing is more than competitive. The 300 gets phenomenal reviews; but is out of my current budget.

All excellent gear, but selling due to medical issues. I would like these to be used. Rating of 7 is very conservative, I think. There is a little gaffer's tape residue around the VR switch (I used to turn it on by mistake, so I would often tape over it).
Photos are from the last couple days. The random power tool shot is hand held 1/40s with VR on.
Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VR. Fast and sharp, focuses perfectly on both of my bodies. I am the second owner (bought it from a FMer), never dropped or mishandled by me. Aside from the usual real-world dust on it, it's in great shape. Hood (no flaws or dings), hood cover, soft case all included. No box. Also I will include Kinesis L511 Compact Long Lens Case 500 with foam insert and padded shoulder harness, 1.7TC teleconverter (plays very well with the 300) + box, and a Manfrotto aluminum monopod.

Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II. I am the original owner. Never dropped or abused. I don't think I ever shot it without a filter (I'll include a B&W UV filter.) Some wear from being used, but no dents or dings. Really Right Stuff tripod foot attached. Includes box and soft case. I'm going to miss this lens a lot -- much sharper and versatile than the VR I version I used to own.
