Asian Beauty

Call this a two subject composition. First a model in the studio posed against a white background. Then, a shot of the Biyodo Temple in Hawaii, a place I was fortunate to visit a dozen years ago. Put them together in Photoshop and add a white vignette to tie it together. The model wasn't even Asian. Comments always appreciated.

My belief is you created a super image in the studio and lost her beauty with the Biyodo Temple composition.

The composite is very well done, and the slight S-curve of her back adds to it. In my opinion the plain studio photo is stark with the curved back actually drawing attention to distorting the proportions of her body - right shoulder vs left, right hip vs left.

I think you did a great job with the composite. I live the colors, and the composition. And thank you for the back story.
The studio shot is just that it is unfinished.
One thing my eye notices, is the line that extends from her hip to her under her right arm, in the water. I know it is a reflection but something about it, that area, seems a little out of place. I can’t put my finger on what it is but my eye notices it.

You always have an artistic eye. I see a beautiful model with excellent lighting and a skillful blend of an image that would work on many backgrounds. I like the fact that it is art instead of in your face graphic nude. While looking at the image and thinking about others comments I was only looking through half open eyes and it occurred to me that a softer focus on the model might also work well to make a pleasing visual. Thanks for sharing your beautiful work.

I like it as well DIgit -up For the beauty of art and form, but I’m not going to critique what other people like. What is the point of that? Do you think that what you like puts you somehow above those who enjoy a different style of art? Like it or not, pornographic arts is an art form. Every culture throughout the ages has had it. And there are those who would consider this lovely image pornographic. They consider you, digit-up, the creepy one.
We should celebrate freedoms of expression and diversity, and let others enjoy what they like without going down the rat hole of judgemental argument.

I think it is a beautiful image of the model, and the additional background is beautiful and interesting, but a bit busy and distracting to me. It is striking and a lot different, though, than the traditional backgrounds.
