One of the headlines in the Fort Worth Star-telegram newspaper this AM.
I can only remember once when there was possibly unity in our country
since the Vietnam war. That was for a few months following
the 911 attack. America seemed to unite behind a single cause; unfortunately
it didn’t last. I seriously doubt the way things are going there
will ever be unity in America. The US is simply way to big with
too many differences of opinions to ever achieve real unity in peace time.

Biden must think he’s some sort of God if he really thinks he can make
it happen?

What did Obama specifically That divided the country ?

Tell us all.

Or is this mostly just case of a lie being repeated so much it becomes acceptable as t***h?

If you couldn't see it while he was in office what makes you think you'll see it now? He wasn't as bad as some will claim but he was indeed r****t.

Agreed. We could start a pool guessing whether Biden will fall ill with some mysterious malady if he is elected, or whether he will be incapacitated in an accident, or maybe he will commit suicide from the strain of all the attacks on his suitability for the job of POTUS.

What is this "never be great again" anyway. America was great when? After WWI? After WWII? 1950s Before Vietnam War. I known that Vietnam War change everything in America. Today the Convis19 is changing everything in America. People don't want to have change come to America. People have to understand that from the very beginning America was and still is an experiment. We are the only ones in the world who govererment is a experiment, What today is fact next week could be discarded. History has proven that many time. If America was not an experiment, there would not be an America.
What is this "never be great again" anyw... (show quote)

Back when America was founded the government was an experiment because other countries at the time never offered its citizens freedom nor did they offer citizens a voice in the running of the government. Our Founding Fathers changed that and now, over 250 years later America is not still an experiment at all. We have been running smoothly as a Democratic Republic since then and doing pretty well.

Capitalism has worked well for Americans since foreigners, our ancestors from all countries, came to these shores. Prior to us coming here the Native Americans bought, sold and bartered with other tribes.

But now comes a group of Marxists who have decided that some groups in America should not have to work. Things should just be given to them from the treasure of others who did work to earn what they have.

But then the 1960's came. Democrats began objecting to a war in Vietnam that offered freedom from oppression from the encroaching C*******m that was sweeping across that part of the globe. While we could have won the war it was not our military who was lacking but our Left Wing citizens and Congress who did not have the balls to finish the war or at least continue it until the C*******ts cried, Uncle.

Since that time the Left Wingers have grown more powerful with the help of the Democrats to the point where the Democrats approve of violent demonstrations where police are k**led, citizens are k**led or assaulted, cities erupt into l**ting and arson. This is not what the Founding Fathers envisioned yet this is what the Democrats are handing us with more in sight.

One of the very few politicians that I have ever admired was never elected to the Presidency and his selfless actions knew that he probably would not be elected.

During the Nixon administration, the country was still suffering from the agony of Vietnam. His Vice President, Spiro Agnew, had to resign and a new VP had to be appointed. His name was Gerald Ford. Ford had the support of both parties because he sought, whenever possible, to get a consensus and compromise between the parties.

Later, after Watergate, it was very clear that the evidence against Nixon was damning and Nixon resigned. There was a public outcry to try Nixon, but Ford knew the man, but also knew that the country needed to heal and trying Nixon would throwing salt in the wounds. He made the decision to pardon Nixon and knew that it would cost him the e******n, which it did when he lost the e******n to Carter. But the country did heal.

I do not believe Biden thinks he's God - his life has been marred by personal tragedy - losing his first wife and daughter in an accident and then his oldest son to brain cancer. As an esophageal cancer survivor and counselor to other victims of the disease, I can tell you straight out that when you deal with the loss of loved ones or face your own mortality there are times you feeling totally powerless which is as far as you can get from feeling Godlike.

We have many issues in this country. As an executive, I tried to teach the Japanese philosophy of "Fix the problem, not the blame." As long as Trump continues his "modus operandi" of the blame game, he will be unsuccessful in unifying the country, Perhaps Biden, if elected, can succeed where Trump has failed.

Maybe you were not paying attention while you were fawning all over his color and H**e America tour.

He said things which divided the b****s against the police when he took up the side of the black thugs against the police who used military armament for protection. During his very first beer conference between a police officer and a his friend, a black professor, he pretty much took the side of the black professor over the side of law enforcement. Since when does the POTUS take the time to have a meeting between a white police officer and a black professor? Most Presidents would have simply left it alone and let the black professor take up any problems with the officer's Chief of Police if there was a problem. And yet Obama, because he was black and against the police, decided to bring it to the public view. A bit of an overk**l wasn't it?

He said things such as taking money from the rest of us, mostly white and giving it to those on welfare, many who are black. As a white person I object to the government taking my money and giving it to ANYBODY, white or black or any other skin color.

If you want more specifics than I suggest you look them up. I doubt you will because you will find more than you can handle. But please don't waste our time telling us that Obama did not divide the country, white from black, police officers from black. You will be a liar.

How do you so easily forget it is the entire Democrat Party who is BLAMING Trump for every problem in America, some going back over 50 years? How is i*****l i*********n Trump's fault? He has tried to fix it with Pelosi refusing to work with him. Instead she invited i*****l a***ns to flock to America with promises of free higher education. Is that the Japanese non blame game, blaming Trump for everything.

Every Democrat in political power for just about ever has insisted on a wall being built to keep out i*****l a***ns. This has been stated by Bill and Hillary, Pelosi, Schumer, Obama and so on. But when Trump wanted to build a wall on his watch, something other politicians only talked about, the Democrats put him down as being inhuman, r****t and so on.

Yes, so Biden lost family members. Get a grip my friend, almost ALL of us have lost family. And yet we move along, get back into gear and live our lives. Perhaps you could tell us all exactly what Biden has done for America in the, what, 50 years he has been in politics. Give us a list of his many accomplishments. Tell us what, if elected, he will do for Americans. So far his promise doesn't go farther than beating Trump.
