I've been away and mostly inactive for the past several months restoring my 1965 396 425HP Corvette to original condition. It took much longer than I had expected and was significantly more difficult than I had anticipated.I began in early Feb.2020 and just got it completed this past Monday.I don't anticipate ever getting involved in a project like this anytime soon.It really cut into my photography time.
There is only one way to restore these cars and it looks like you did it correctly.
I've done several and love the Coupes the best. Beautiful car and you did a first class job.

From what I could see in the download, the gears are 3.73?
Gorgeous car. I admire anyone who can do this - and has the courage to do it!
Great photos of your project. After reading many articles about restorations and also watching shows on Motor Trend TV, you completed you project in a very short amount of time. I have read about similar frame off restorations that take 2-5 years.
I also think the C2's are the best looking Corvettes with the C7's and C8s now close behind. I always thought the sidepipes and knockoff wheels of the C2s were awesome and you have both plus the big block. Wow!
Wow just about says it.
But I doubt the "cheese slicers" are gunna contain the horses.
I reckon ya need more rubber bro.
Beautiful restoration. Surprised you were able to complete it in such a short period of time. Your Vette must have been in pretty good shape to start with. Curious why you didn't put red line tires on it?
It's a NM thing! Mines not as exotic, but I did a frame off on my 1959 Edsel, 4 door, hardtop. My profession (now retired) was the practice of law. Tom

Thanks for viewing. It runs like new.
Hopefully it will make it to Hot August Nights in Reno 2021. The Chinese Virus cancelled us this year.
