A video from 2013 has resurfaced showing former first lady Michelle Obama praising accused sexual abuser Harvey Weinstein as “a good friend” and “a wonderful human being” following her address to the Democratic National Convention on Monday.

The video, which was tweeted by conservative actor James Woods to his 2.5 million followers.

Actress, comedienne, and co-host of ABC’s “The View,” Whoopie Goldberg was also seen in the video clip clapping heartily when Obama thanked Weinstein for mentoring film students.

“He is a wonderful human being, a good friend and just a powerhouse,” Obama said.

Yes, Weinstein was a ahole to wanna be up and coming actresses looking forward to advancing their careers however possible. The casting couch worked both ways. Most of the #metoo movement was against the acceptance of the policy, especially since it just didn't work so well for the women. After all, how many leading ladies are going to be in that film, anyway?
