These were shot just South of Reno in Genoa can anyone tell what species they are?

#2 definitely American Magpie. Lots of them around my area.

I think your correct on both. #1 could be a Sharp Shinned they are very similar. Size is the easiest way to tell.

Thinking the hawk is an young Red Tailed Hawk. The head shape, dark tipped beak, thin bars in the tail, the amount of white in the wings -
Other bird is likely a black billed magpie.
Agree with Gene on both birds. In addition to his comments, the white spotted "V" on the scapulars (back feathers) is seen on many Red-tails.
Nice shot through the branches.
