This is a very good shot. It shows how decidated you are in taking a picture that I would call a keeper.

There is an old train depot in our little town that has been completely restored back to its orignal day. It is no longer used but trains do pass it everyday.

I will be taking a few shots in the near future and will post it here.

Now... This is what I call very different, How on earth did you get all of the colors?
I would say all in all it is loud but yet has something about it that draws you to it.
Good shooting and planning went into this shot.

I love that shot of the RR Crossing. We are building a huge model train room in our basement. I would love to have a large copy of that photo for the wall in that room.
If we ever get that room totally set up the way we want it, I will post many pictures of it here.
Below are some shots I took in Chattanooga last year.
This is the Tennessee Valley Railroad. In the 2nd shot the engine & tender are being turned around on a turntable to reverse it's direction.

As a child, we used to go to the "Round House" to watch the train go in forward and amazingly it would come out going forward too! Since it was completely enclosed from the side we looked at it, it seemed magical! Years later the switching yard was closed, as less and less trains came. My late hubby worked in the round house, it was not a railroad related position, but he did get to enjoy the childhood memories from the inside out. It is still a magical place in my memory. Thanks for the reminder and for posting those awesome pix.

I'm glad you enjoyed them. We had a great time there on vacation. I love trains and that city has loads of them!
