I didn't eat your fish even though the evidence on my beak indicates otherwise.
This image is outstanding! Absolutely everything is in focus! The download is incredible.
That's so sharp I can count the feathers.
Excellent, vz. Sharp and well-composed.

Thanks Az. It did turn out well even though I used my "little lens". vz

Thanks very much kp on both points. I didn't know how this would turn out using only my 300mm AF-S f4 but it pulled though. vz
Epic capture of this noble rapture... it's amazing that birds are the only dinosaurs to survive the mass extinction event 65 million years ago.
A quick glance at their beaks and talons reveals that yes indeed birds are truly amazing dinosaurs... We are extremely fortunate that weight limits on wing loading precluded multi-ton "birdies" from developing... thinking the sight of a 2000 lb raptor soaring overhead would keep lot's of folks quarantined inside.
Kudo's on your deployment of that iconic AF-S 300mm f/4D ED IF optic... that legendary glass has yielded breathtaking acuity and color saturation... albeit the D850 certain is pulling it's share of the load in this task...
Again wonderful artistry Erik... looking forward to more of your stellar work with these fabulous dinosaurs from the Mesozoic age... Darwinian selection at it's best!
Cheers....
