What's that old saying? Something about the best camera
is the one you have with you, or something like that?

I get it, but about the only pictures I take with my Samsung
Smart Phone are panoramas...they are so much easier to do
with the phone with just the software (whatever it is) that
comes with the phone.

The first image below is our messy living room; just wanted to
test it out...actually, not too bad...lol

The best camera, so the saying goes, is the one you have with you. Most of us have phones with cameras which is now another niche for imaging with more sophisticated cameras with each new model. Apps are many. For this challenge, please post only photos taken with your phone and let us know what apps you use on your phone. All editing, for this challenge, should be done on your phone. For my iPhone 8S, my apps are: Lightroom, Fused, Pixlr, BeFunky,Focus and Snapseed. Many of these apps are available for other platforms. All but Lightroom are free, although some are now limiting free use with most tools in "pro" versions which = $$.

These were taken in portrait mode, and processed in "Focus" (which lets me change aperture and add bokeh), BeFunky and Snapseed. Unfortunately, I didn't write down which program.

Great start, Pat. You are right about the best camera being the one you have with you. Don’t often have my Sony with me when out shopping. Like the other day at Costco and I ran across this dueling banjo band that PJ could add to his front yard. My iPhone e is only an 8, but does a d scent job.

Pg 6 - Love the image itself, and the optional filters make it fun.

p.7 Thanks, Larry. And I agree about it being handy when the larger ones are not. I find I am using mine more - scanning at grocery store, pix of instructions, pix of how something I'll need to return was packed etc. Today I snapped a pic of the back of a computer tower and the placement of the cords (daughter was expecting computer guy and I knew it needed to be pulled out for him, so grandson and I pulled it out and "recorded" it) Grandson said a pic wasn't necessary, but...HA - we used it! BTW I got the new modem running too and tech checked a bunch of things....Maybe I'll get another job in electronics!
