DeLaura in low key

This will be the last in the series of low-key photos. Stay tuned for some high-key shots. Her beauty and ability as a model at least partially compensates for my inexperience with model photography! Not sure, for example, about how I feel about cutting off her foot in this photo. I admit that I was not paying enough attention to her foot......

A great photo of a great model. Yes, the other foot would have been nice.

Nice work! I love the pose, the moody lighting and dark background. IMHO The missing foot is undesirable but it doesn’t ruin the shot. And it’s cut at the right place. You could probably crop a little mote off the bottom if you wanted too.

But it is a fine shot as is.

I have no idea what could have distracted you from the left foot.😊

de Laura is stunning, "so like the lady with the mystic smile
Is it only 'cause you're lonely they have blamed you?
For that Mona Lisa strangeness in your smile?"

The foot controversy... cropping just below her left knee [rt in photo] would have been more in keeping with the construction norms. The long leg that leads to nowhere is a distraction especially for those who love to chew on a lady's toes.

That is a wall-hanger - to be there when you have a deep issue to resolve.

That is what I thought too. This is a great shot, but the real high point for me is that she has great skin.

The light on her skin is exquisite! Beautiful.
To my eye, her little toe seems a bit overlit making her foot look big. Maybe darken. I know, I know....

Great shot, no comment on the distraction. I do like this, Low-Key lighting, can anybody tell me a good site to learn this. Something like YouTube site.
