For the second year in a row, here in southwest Massachusetts we are inundated with monarch butterflies on their way into the northeast. The return flow in September could be epic.

Nice shot. Not a big Monarch year here.
Have never had more than a couple in a season - this year none so far. Plenty of other types.

Have not seen one Monarch the last two years, used to be lots. Saw one on my butterfly weed last week. Of course it flew off before I could get my camera out...

We see very Monarchs here in the PNW, at least near the Puget Sound.
