Welcome to UHH. Sandy Ridge - needed to look it up - near Charlotte! Huge change from Long Island. A few hours gets you to the ocean and a few more to the Outer Banks. Great mountain ranges and nature areas to the west. Lots of photo ops. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks, but I'm in the other Sandy Ridge -- find Greensboro and head north. My wife and I are just south of the VA border
It's pretty nice-looking up here, too, and maybe a little cooler. (Important for these Yankees, ya know!)
