Olympus EM-1 II disappearing sale?

B&H had the camera yesterday at $799. Great price. I intended to buy it an hour later in the day. But then The Olympus Store listed it at $899 (3 day sale) and when you went back to the B&H ad it said "no longer available". Not "sold out", just not available. I guess the Olympus Corp did not like being undersold. I don't like the $100 extra for no reason. I won't be buying from either source

Camera stores don't set sale prices on new products; the manufacturer does. So your comment about Olympus disliking being undersold is incorrect and silly.

"No longer available" suggests it was a single, used model. See links in my next comments for used models for around $800 through Adorama and KEH.

It appears you did not really want the camera either.

Click here for a used body at Adorama for $779.

You waited to buy a camera listed with what you said was a great price. You waited and it sold. How is that B&H or Olympus’ fault?

Never wait till tomorrow for what you can do today. Live is short.

I "want" most all cameras. I take the final step of buying one when the spirit and price move me. I never claimed to be professional. Or even at all rational.
