Nice set. Thanx for sharing. Used to pick and eat pomegranates on the way to/from school. Sacramento 1960s.
Thank you Sinewsworn for taking a look and for commenting. Years ago I lived in Sequim. Beautiful area.

After trimming a neighbor's pomegranate tree coming over my fence I thought I would try to photograph some of the fruit.

Thanks for the nice compliment. Until about 12 years ago I had no idea where they came from and sort of thought them an exotic fruit. Then my wife, She Who Must Be Obeyed, asked me to trim branches growing into our yard from the neighbor's side. What a surprise to find out the neighbor was growing exotic fruit.

I'm not sure if it's on this laptop or my old one, but I have a pic of a whole bunch of whole and cut pomegranates in a bin at an open-air market from my trip to Israel in 2016. The whole trip was fascinating, both for the cultural as well as the religious history, but as my pastor would say, it was hotter than seven kinds of smoke! The day I took a dip in the Dead Sea and went on a desert lunch Jeep tour it was 104 in the shade. I spent my birthday at a kibbutz on a hill across the Sea of Galilee from Tiberius.

That sounds pretty neat. My wife has been on a religious retreat to Israel and loved it. So far I have never been.
