Pictures taken last September. So many tourists! Wind was ferocious with blowing sand - almost left. First picture was taken at sunset. Returned at sunrise for second picture.

An amazing place. Could only visit briefly one early morn. Wish I could have stayed longer. Sunrise light was a killer. These are nice.

What tourists don't realize is that there are dozens of horseshoe bends besides Horseshoe Bend. Some are easier to find and get to than others but they are ALL beautiful. You don't have to fight the crowds if you do your homework. And some are better in evening light. Nice photos.
