You have no idea who my ancestors were or what I've experienced in my life. Your ancestors were also brutal to each other and held each other as s***es. They didn't all help immigrants to survive through the winter. Some did, yes but not all.

My point is man's nature has not changed nor will it change. For example, South Africa is as dangerous as it ever was now that apartheid has been done away with - as it should have been. The answer is simple in principle but near impossible in execution - treat others the way you'd like to be treated.

I do treat others as I would like to be treated, as I would like to have been treated. You and I communicate over a medium that does not reveal anything about us other than our words.

However, if you agree with the OP's slate in light of what I have posted as objections, I can draw a fairly accurate mental picture of where you and I might come down on the central issues.

S***ery was wrong, disenfranchisement was wrong, poll taxes were wrong, Jim Crow was wrong, my HS counselor was wrong (thank the lord), and, if you choose to justify any of the foregoing issues, then, you, too, are wrong.

Changing the nature of man, I agree, is near to impossible. Changing the laws of the land are not near so impossible if there is a consensus of the population who will stand up for what is right. Where do you stand?

THAT actually came from the old French and Indian war. The French were making- and keeping- treaties wih the natives as they found them. And building a trade empire. The English believed they owned America and everything in it. The colonials were conscripted to aid the English after the French started to build forts near the Mississippi claiming the West was theirs. That f**g (made by my neighbor, Ben Franklin) was to unite the raggle taggle colonials into a cohesive force to join and assist the English.
After THAT bloody war ended. King George then treated the colonials as low class indentured servants. They were allowed to purchase only certain items, and all from the company (East India Tea) store. After a time of that abuse, he decided that the colonials should pay extra taxes to reimburse England for it's costs, especially including that darn war with the French. And it was about time England started making money off these guys. BTW, certain English nobles would be along shortly to claim land parcels as part of their estates. The people were already angry by the time he imposed that infamous stamp tax, thus the tea party, then that whole little dust up. The colonials were already fairly cohesive at that point.
That f**g was old news by then. The more things change ...

Because you on the Left seem to promote problems between b****s and Conservatives, L**T and Conservatives, Hispanics and Conservatives and then want to step in as the savior of those people with the DNC leading the front. That is why.

Why did you even answer if there were no perceived problems for you to whine and b***h about. Don't you have enough cheese to go along with your whine?

The t***h of the matter is Conservatives as a group have absolutely no problem with any of those groups, no problem with Native Americans, no problem with Atheists or anybody else who may come along. We may not like some of these groups IF they shove their agenda down our throats which as I recall is what the post is about. But we are not actively out there trying to stop them from enjoying life in America.

Now contrast that to you on the Left telling us that H**e Speech should not be allowed as it violates the First Amendment.

Let's face it my friend. My ancestors and your ancestors here in America are exactly the very same people. How is it you cry and b***h about my ancestors while having us believe your ancestors were pure and wonderful toward any group in America. Fact is early Americans were not so caring about necessarily any other group. But with regard to b****s you have trouble remembering it was white people, thousands of them that died to free s***es. It was your Democratic Party that started the KKK in the South and your party who continues to protect b****s as if they were not adults and actually needed the protection of the DNC.

S***ery was - and is - wrong. So were all the other things you mentioned. My HS counselor was wrong too. They often are. I am justifying no wrongs.



I stand for what is right but that seems to be subjective depending on who you talk to. Laws will never change attitudes. Laws will never have an effect on morality. We can't rely on government to change attitudes. So how to change them?

Well said Rose. A great many Left Wingers these days will tell us that H**e Speech is wrong and should not be tolerated. Most of us, thank God, still believe in the First Amendment regarding Free Speech. I have said it numerous times here and still completely believe in a phrase that was going around long before I was born; I may not agree with what you say but I will fight to the death for your right to say it. That is the First Amendment in a nutshell. We all have different beliefs but we all have a right to state our beliefs. If others do not like it they can move on out of the range of hearing. But the Left, Caruso's Left, will tell us that H**e Speech should not be tolerated. We still call that censorship in America, a country that has long been filled with p***e because we did not tolerate censorship as did C*******t countries or dictatorships.

Maybe it is time you, the little princess and anybody else who agrees with your crude tactics learns that is not acceptable. It also does not fall anywhere close to the First Amendment. Your first Amendment rights end long before causing injury of any kind to others.
