Does anyone know if there is an equivalent to Breeze System’s Downloader Pro for macs? I’m looking for a way to use I age EXIF data to automatically generate a folder structure when I import my images from the camera / SD card along the lines of:
/.../<camera>/<year>/<month>/<location or event>/1234.nef

A quick Google search for "breeze downloader pro alternative" gives you a bunch of alternatives.

You could try this: Photo Supreme. A bit pricy though.

Thank you Bob, and for the Photo Supreme suggestion. I had already tried the google search and they all seem to fall into one of three camps:
- Windows only
- Not updated for over five years
- Expensive to just use as an I age importer (Photo Supreme, Photo Mechanic...)

I was hoping that someone in the UHH collective had found something that could do “Downloader Pro” stuff for a Mac.

Photo Supreme V5 is available for the Mac. I looked at their website for information and pricing. It looks pretty good.

I'm unfamiliar with the app you are trying to replace but perhaps this one comes close? It's built-in to the Mac, of course.

Been using Downloader Pro for a decade or more. I like the flexibility to produce custom file names that put a lot of information into the file name (and folder name). I'm a Windows guy (since around 1990) and that was one of the reasons I stayed a Windows guy instead of letting my wife convince me to switch to Mac.

Are there any Windows emulators for the Mac that would let you use DP?

My first pass with Google gave me this regarding your question. There are many more, of course.

I seem to have found an answer - Silent Sifter by Vector 15 looks to do what I want, along with some useful extra features, without becoming a full-on photo editing suite.
