How many of you are in this same situation. This is a table of various stuff related to the technology in my life. Motorized gimbals, non-motorized, battery chargers, cables, camera (one of 3 I own), various manuals (most of them lost by now since all are easily replaced online). This is not even all of it. I have multiple chargers by my bed to charge phones, ipads, readers, watch, overnite.
So, when am I to consider that I am overwhelmed by technology. When is enough? I don't want to have the most toys when I die, since I don't even want to die!

That does NOT LOOK LIKE A HECK OF A LOT OF STUFF to my way of thinking. But then, I really began to acquire gear and g.a.s. When I retired 12 years ago. Now, the spare bedroom is NOT. Enough room, and many cameras and lenses get little attention. .....RJM

The worst part is trying to plug in one of those cables and you can't find the right one!
I told my wife I wanted a Nikon D6 (now backordered). She looked at me with that familiar look. (That’s the look that says I have a choice. I will be sent to the hospital. I can pick the Psychiatric Unit or the Intensive Care Unit,) My wife is not fond of my GAS attacks and she will accompany me to B &H. Of course, she snuck into my wallet to remove my credit card before we leave the house.
I believe the Original Poster (SonyBug) would receive a lot of items as gifts or a last desperate attempt to resolve GAS. I think we should stop picking on the OP and cut them some slack here. If they want to sell his/her stuff let them do it. If they want to give it away to a local High School as a donation to a Photography Club, so be it.
Right now I’m planning to do just that. What happens if SonyBug wants to collect gear and use it once in a while? It might collect dust. (I certainly don’t want you o collect dust.)
Right now, a major part of my paycheck is going to my son in college getting ready to defend his PhD thesis and my daughter studying in college to be a music teacher. (She now plays 10 instruments).
As for the OP (SonyBug) original question, Enough Is Enough? I’m not sure. No one is being harmed and no crime is being committed. No one is deprived of anything! Does all this gear take up a lot of space? You Betcha! If you have the money, space and desire let them have it. Let’s not have at them.
If I offended anyone with my diatribe, please accept my apology. It wasn’t meant to offend just enlighten.
Happy Shooting!
