Goldfinch in a Pandemic

Sitting out on the back porch, still watching all the cardinals. A goldfinch landed on a perch above one of my birdbaths. It was a cloudy afternoon, but this bird struck me as being particularly lovely. The first picture is one I took in May 2016, when I was really a beginner, and it always looked pretty good. Better camera, better lens, dare I say better photographer, I don't know. Just really wishing for the opportunity to go somewhere to find some new birds.
