Focus Stacked Image of Butterfly Proboscis

This is the Swallowtail Butterfly that I staged for its eyes the other day. I staged this session to showcase its proboscis which it quite long and they keep it curled up in neatly wound concentric circles when they are not using it for feeding.

Wonderful image! I always try to get the proboscis in my butterfly shots, but of course never this close. Thanks for sharing your amazing skills.

Thanks, UTMike. I find them to be quite interesting creatures. A large moth got into the house tonight so it will be a specimen for tomorrow's session.
